The entrance signs to the town of Loupian, near Sète, have been “redecorated” with an evocative “tick-tock”.

Anger is brewing again among farmers. The profession is still waiting, in fact, for the promises made during the last major blocking movement to be followed up.

And to mark that the pot is really starting to boil – a call for demonstrations was launched from November 15 to denounce the possibility of a trade agreement between the European Commission and Mercosur as well as the rise in prices of agricultural equipment – the entrance signs to the town of Loupian, located north of the Thau basin near Sète, have just been “redecorated“.

Upside down panels during the previous movement

On a black background, an evocative “tick-tock” has been affixed to these panels. Without knowing which organism it could come from. A totally evocative countdown, no matter what.

During the previous movement, the municipal signs had been placed upside down to signify that we “walked on his head”.
