The shock was extremely violent. Seriously injured, the child was transported in absolute emergency to Necker hospital in Paris, say the firefighters. Under shock, the child's mother and the tram driver were also taken care of by the firefighters.
An investigation was opened by the Paris transport authority. Alcohol and drug tests were carried out on the driver. They turned out to be negative.
