Monday October 21, the president of the SDIS officially handed over the keys of the new Duster to the head of the Saint-Clar fire and rescue center in Gers.

On Monday October 21, an official ceremony was held at the Fire and Rescue Center (CIS) in Saint-Clar to mark the handing over of the keys to a new Duster, a vehicle dedicated to rescue operations. This symbolic gesture was made by the president of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS), in the presence of several elected officials and representatives of the Gers SDIS, emphasizing the importance of this new equipment for local security.

Among the personalities present, we noted the participation of David Taupiac, deputy, Lionel Poteau, elected representative of the town hall of Saint-Clar, as well as representatives of SDIS 32, including Colonel Jean-Louis Ferres, departmental director, and Colonel Gilles Viriglio, deputy departmental director. Captain Hervé Gauzere, deputy head of the North territorial group, was also present, alongside Lieutenant Jean-Michel Allamand, deputy head of the Lomagne company, and Commander Jean-Pierre Laborde, head of the Equipment and Infrastructure group.

The delivery of this new Duster represents a major asset for the Saint-Clar center, improving intervention capabilities and the speed of response during emergency situations. The president of the SDIS underlined the importance of providing local teams with modern equipment adapted to various types of interventions, a commitment reinforced by this allocation.

This event was an opportunity for all participants to reiterate their support for the region's volunteer and professional firefighters, who play an essential role in the safety and protection of the population.
