Burglary – Essential equipment at municipal construction sites in Ambazac has disappeared after a nighttime burglary last weekend
Last weekend, the technical services of the Ambazac town hall, located in the Granges industrial zone, were the target of a burglary, reports France 3 Limousin. In the morning, municipal agents discovered signs of break-in: a skylight had been forced open, allowing the burglars direct access to the workshops.
Two town hall utility vehicles, used for various municipal projects, had disappeared, in addition to a set of valuable tools. Portable power equipment such as drills, as well as a chainsaw and various thermal tools, were stolen, representing a total loss of several tens of thousands of euros.

The absence of these vehicles and these tools directly impacts technical services, which are essential to the proper functioning of the municipality of Haute-Vienne. Those responsible had to adjust their organization by setting up a rotation of the remaining vehicles, in order to maintain maintenance and repair work.
