FAIR: The new Epicureans aisle improves the visitor experience

The International and Gastronomic Fair continues to be renewed. Launched this Thursday, October 31, it allows you to discover, until November 11, a different layout of the stands in the center of Hall 1, dedicated to gastronomy.

ec68b153c6.jpgThe most visible of the new features of the 94th edition of the International and Gastronomic Fair of Dijon results from the importance given to the central aisle leading to the Table of Lucullus. Having opened this Thursday, October 31, 2024, the event will take place until November 11.

Now called “Allée des Epicureans”, the central route highlights institutional stands which are no longer only focused on communication for communities or business groups but also offer services linked to the specificity of the fair: catering, bar and shop.

The Allée des Epicureans brings a feeling of space

Two large stands contribute to bringing a feeling of space to this alley: that of the Métropole de Dijon, at the entrance, then, almost opposite, that of the Côte-d'Or Department.

There are also the stands of Cassis de Dijon, Savourez la Bourgogne and even that of Lidl which, once again, has a special place near the Table de Lucullus.

In a relatively dark Hall 1, this arrangement of stands clearly improves the experience of visitors who will thus gain ease of movement during busy times. In addition, the two community stands play on verticality, which again changes the perception of space.

For its part, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region offers games on a more modest stand in Hall 2. The community does not hide its presence at the International Agricultural Show in as a priority for this type of event. communication.

Numerous foreign and overseas representatives

The International Village hosts stalls offering food, drinks, crafts and clothing from several countries: Canada, Italy, Ireland, Tunisia, Ukraine, Vietnam and Japan. Note that the land of the rising sun is represented by three regions: Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Kumamoto.

Furthermore, on the opposite side in Hall 1, a Village of Tahiti and the Pacific Islands also offers crafts from the overseas country of French Polynesia, including the famous pearls.

Well-being, habitat and furnishing in Hall 2

Hall 2 is still dedicated to housing and decoration with the essential furniture and bedding stands.

Since the destruction of the mezzanine for security reasons, the crafts of the world and the no less essential sewing machines have taken place on level 2 of Hall 2.

Between the two, there is a space dedicated to well-being and beauty. Without forgetting the gallery in Hall 1 and the aisle located just below, which complement the previous offers and make the link with gastronomy by presenting kitchen utensils and accessories in particular.

Fewer stands, more entertainment

Overall, the organizers have agreed to accommodate fewer stands for this 94th edition, which saves space for visitors.

On the other hand, the Dijon Bourgogne Events team claims to offer new products, depending on the renewal of merchants' commitments, and to increase the number of events intended for the whole family.
