The Montal Golf team, with fourteen players, went on Sunday October 27 to Mas Del Teil in Lachapelle-Auzac, on the only 18-hole course in Lot at the Souillac golf course in the Dordogne valley. The Saint-Jean-Lespinasse team composed of Marie – Claude Marty, Jean-Michel Marty, Vincent Juhel, Serge Lyonnet, Nadine and Serge Bedou, Michel Lecru, Pascal Colin, Guillaume Oinville, Michel Truquet, Jean Paul Duprat, Christian Salabert , Jean Rémi Besombes and Philippe Ségales therefore participated in the Lot interclub championship.
Each year, this competition takes place on one of the golf sites available in the department, in 2023, it will be in Montal. It was therefore only natural that the 2024 edition would be held on the Mas del Teil site. All the clubs in the department responded. Souillac, Association Cahors golf, Le Bouysset and Montal were therefore in the running. After a very committed competition between these four competitors, the victory went to the Cahors Golf Association. This competition was organized, like every year, by the Lot golf departmental committee. Its president Philippe Ségales was very proud of the quality of the exchanges and the level of golfers in the region. After the cup was presented to the winning club, all the players were invited to share the pot of friendship.
