From the land of vines to that of maple syrup. The company JPS Welding Tables, born in La Réole (Gironde), preparing to cross the Atlantic to create a subsidiary in Canada.

This company opened its doors in May 2023, in the Frimont Ouest industrial zone, in La Réole. Now manager of the SARL, Jérôme Peyrouton was, a few years ago, artisan boilermaker welder specialized in viticulture.

The art of the table, La Réole version

Everything was going well in his activity except the welding tables on which he worked; they did not suit him. From there to creating one to suit him, there was barely a step… The “Peyrouton creation” table was popular and, in 2018, Jérôme Peyrouton filed the patent.

Jérôme Peyrouton's assembly and clamping tables are intended for craftsmen and industrialists in metallurgical trades such as boilermaking, welding, industrial mechanics, but also woodworking trades such as carpentry or industrial carpentry.

The fixing system, without screws, “simple, reliable and efficient”, allows the accessories to be blocked and held on the tables; it has been registered with the INPI.

It saves time and efficiency for the craftsman who can now have all his equipment at hand. User of her own tables, the company constantly optimizes them. Among the prestigious clients, we can cite the maintenance department of the Louvre as well as Cegelec Space, in , in Guyana.

Great growth

Today, the story of the JPS table continues. One of the first customers in to have acquired it moved to Canada. The JPS table, little known until now, is coveted across the Atlantic.

After months of preparation Jérôme Peyrouton is very happy to announce the creation of the subsidiary JPS Canada which will subcontract manufacturing, in the province of Quebec. JPS Welding Tables exports its know-how in return for an operating fee and can thus develop its Reolese business.

In two years, I went from 150 m² to 1,500 m2. Everything is happening very quickly. I was a craftsman and here I am in the big leagues. However, I remain available to everyone, including craftsmen who need a service.

The seven employees, including three work-study students in trainingcan't believe it. Especially since a large machine has just been delivered to the Frimont workshop. It laser cuts all metals, steel, stainless steel and aluminum with requested options, adapted by the manufacturer.

During the few days of learning, the “big machine” will capture the attention of the whole team. “The company is constantly growing, which allows us to expand the range of table-related accessories. I am very satisfied with the dynamism of the municipality of La Réole and that of the community of communes. »
