Çbegan with a lady in black consulting a witch's grimoire. It's night. We can barely make out the monumental fountain on the Place du Général-de-Gaulle, at the foot of the Évreux town hall.

200 dancers

Very quickly, the camera focuses on a group of monstrously disguised dancers, dressed in black, with fake blood staining the t-shirts… The movements follow on to the remix of Lady Gaga's title, Bloody Mary. This is the song that was sped up and to which the Tiktokers made Jenna Ortaga dance again, who plays Wednesday Addams, from the same series broadcast on Netflix.

No less than 200 dancers “all ages and all levels” participated in this choreography imagined by Vanessa Morel, artistic director of the Dance attitude studio… An idea original enough to wish a “terrible Halloween” to Internet users, and which is creating a buzz. As we write these few lines, the video has already been viewed more than 4,700 times. And it's not over yet!

This is not the first time that the Ebroïcienne dance school has occupied the Place du Général-de-Gaulle for a collective dance. In January 2021, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, around a hundred dancers performed choreographies for “raise public awareness of those who have been forgotten during the pandemic: the world of culture, associations and especially dance”.
