AMAZING ! FC PRJ – Saint Philbert du pont Ch. La Réorthe La Jaudonnière has one series of surprises and qualifies for the 7th round of the Coupe de France!
This weekend of October 26 and 27 took place the 6th round of the Coupe de France, the last round before the entry of the Ligue 2 BKT teams. A look back at the Vendée qualifiers from the weekend.
The date of October 27, 2024 will remain engraved! In fact, the FC St Philbert La Réorthe La Jaudonnière (photo below), the national champion of the competition and playing in D3, hosted SO Cholet (D49 – R3). Following a goalless draw, the players of Bruno GUESDON (coach of FC St Philbert La Réorthe La Jaudonnière) had all the cards in their hands to create the feat during the penalty shootout. And it’s done! The home team wins 5 to 4 during the TAB! Incredible surprise for this 6th round and Bruno GUESDON “has fun” speaking to Ouest France (LFPL partner): “ We'll have to find a new stadium to accommodate everyone. »

At the National 3 level, ESOF La Roche sought qualification on the pitch of the R1 Intersport of St Julien Divatte (D44 – photo below) and Vendée Fontenay Foot largely won on the Sarthe side against US Moncé-en-Belin (D72) playing in R2.

The National 2 clubs still in the running, La Roche VF and Les Herbiers VF, also did the “job” during this 6th round. Traveling, respectively, to the grounds of US La Baule Pouliguen (R1 Intersport – D44) and FC Fuilet Chaussaire (D1 – D49), 3rd Petit Thumb, the two Vendée clubs logically won for the 7th round.
Finally, in the 100% N3 meeting which opposed St Philbert de Grand Lieu (D44) to AS Châtaigneraie (D85), there too the 22 players went as far as the famous penalty shootout following a match full of goals (2-2). It is the club of 44 which wins with a score of 7 to 6 during this exercise. Congratulations to the Châtaigneraie players for their journey.
The draw for the 7th and 8th rounds of the 2024-2025 edition of the Coupe de France will be held this Wednesday (October 30) at 10:45 a.m. at the headquarters of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) in Paris.
