Still no points this season for the Thiberians, severely beaten (6-1) this Sunday in Saint-Astier. Limens JSA thus continues its flawless performance in the championship.
The Périgord derby between Limens JSA and Thiviers-Nord Dordogne looked unbalanced, between a team having won its three matches played so far and visitors having lost their four R3 matches played. However, captain Romain Jaly found, for the occasion, his place in the Thiberian cage. An undeniable asset which added to some returns from injury.
Moreover, without being dangerous, David Charrieras' players had possession of the ball during the first ten minutes. But on a cross from Alex Peytoureau from the right, Faouzi Aichi recovered at the far post and struck towards the goal, in front of which Issa Ndiaye cut the trajectory of the ball for the opener (13th). A minute later, another overflow and cross from Peytoureau, directly taken over by Aichi (2-0, 14th).
And the locals drive the point home on a great action initiated by this same Aichi. Jaly brilliantly intervened in front of Belalia Belaoun but the ball returned to the midfielder who lobbed the goalkeeper, still on the ground (3-0, 30th). Limens JSA was putting a tough Thiberian defense in more and more trouble at the start of the season. And in the 50th minute, Albert Koenersie, alone at the edge of the area, won his duel with Jaly with a flat foot flush with the post. He scored the fifth goal less than ten minutes later, by linking up control and a shot in the middle of two defenders.
Folded at the hour of play
The 6-0 came from an overflow on the left side of Jules Chalopin, with a center on the line for his winger Issa Ndiaye, who in turn scored a double (75th). “We were able to quickly make the difference and we finished without injuries or cards, a beautiful Sunday,” rejoiced Pascal Guillaume, the coach of Limens JSA, impatient to be able to assess his team next Sunday in the regional cup. It will again be in Saint-Astier, against an R2 team, Arsac-Le Pian, held in check on Saturday evening by Nontron-Saint-Pardoux (2-2).
Obviously the opposite feeling for the Thiberians. They could only save the honor when, after two shots repelled by Gaétan Forestier, Abdoulaye Diallo hit the mark with the help of the upright (6-1, 83rd). A very meager reward.
