Employees of the mail distribution platforms of Nort-sur-Erdre and Ancenis-Saint-Géréon have filed a strike notice for Monday, June 3. A movement which occurs ten days before the European elections and which could “disturb greatly” the distribution of electoral propaganda in around fifteen municipalities in Loire-Atlantique.
“The Ancenis site underwent significant changes in the organization of work in February and cannot support the distribution costs of parcels, mail and advertising materials required of it, alert Thibaut Berrou, representative of the Sud PTT union. Site employees are requesting technical adjustments and the creation of workstations to clarify the current situation. »
In Nort sur Erdre, which experienced a strike in April, “concerns remain, continues the union. The advances proposed by the Post Office do not all seem to be respected. There are divergences in the direction of these advances; management interpreting its proposals to its advantage, accepted with confidence by the postmen on the site. »
