Villefranche-d’Albigeois. The Aikido club in training in Temple-sur-Lot

There is no competition in Aikido but friendly meetings, courses, which allow everyone to find their place by testing their skills. Then over the years, there are grade changes where we are judged by high-level executives outside the clubs. There are no champions, titles, cups or medals. In a real lost fight, the sanction would be injury or even death… Fortunately the Spirit of Aikido, however effective, lies elsewhere, in respect and preservation of the partner, friendship, conviviality and sharing. . This Temple sur Lot course is one of the highlights of the season for young people and children. It took place over 3 days, from May 9 to 11. For a low price that includes travel, accommodation, food and all activities, this is a bargain not to be missed.

In addition to the six aikido sessions, there are two other practices in the great outdoors, generally nautical (canoeing and paddle). This is the 2nd year that the club has participated in this unmissable event which will remain one of the objectives for next season. Six of our young people out of the 57 participants, supervised by two of their teachers, were able to meet friends from the Midi-Pyrénées interdepartmental committee and undoubtedly store up experience and memories for a long time.

See you next year

Please note that it is possible to try Aikido and register all year round at the Alban or Trébas dojo (for children from 6 years old, teenagers, adults and seniors).
