Adrienne Olivier was born at Grand Gevereau in Montenay (Mayenne) on May 25, 1924. She left school at 14, holding a primary school certificate, to work on the farm with her parents, until her marriage to Joseph Bourcin on January 23, 1946. After living with Olivier’s parents, the two spouses then operated the Boissières farm, in Juvigné, from 1953. The couple had two daughters: Adrienne, born in 1946 and Joséphine, born in 1950. .

Late adoption procedure

Joseph Bourcin died in January 1970. At the end of 1971, Adrienne married Arthur Lelièvre, a widower, whom she joined on the Miray farm in La Bigottière. When the latter retired, the couple returned to live in Boissières.

“In 2008, upon the death of Arthur Lelièvre, her second husband, Adrienne chose to adopt Gilbert and Antoine, the two sons from Arthur Lelièvre’s first marriage. Atypical age for an adoption procedure: the latter are then 60 years old and 54 years old respectively! “, indicates Roland Planchais, son-in-law of Adrienne Lelièvre.

Adrienne is a grandmother of 10 grandchildren and has 20 great-grandchildren.

Adrienne lives in Juvigné until 2022, the year she joins the Bellevue nursing home in Saint-Denis-de-Gastines, at the age of 98. “An establishment where I really like it! I have a very pleasant roommate: Émile Perret, who will soon celebrate his 100th birthday and plays the accordion. says Adrienne Lelièvre.

Proof of the good understanding between the two residents: Émile Perret came as a surprise guest during the meal that Adrienne shared on Saturday May 25 at the restaurant in Ernée. He took out the accordion and Adrienne sang.
