Selfbéton is the idea of ​​Damien Galissaire in Aillas, in Gironde. This is a libre-service of concrete or mortar, usable up to three hours after loading. Explanations.

Damien Galissaire uses every month between 5 to 10 m³ of concrete for his own company, created in 2022, Galissaire TPspecialized in earthworks and upgrading sanitation standards.

In two years, he had time to study the question ofsupply in concrete with expectations sometimes disadvantageous for the projects that are waiting. Simultaneously, on social networks, the young business leader discovered the concrete self-service.

In the north and west of , the practice is common. Selfbéton is the solution to stock up without waiting. So why not create this service here?

In a few months, contacts made with suppliers, feasibility studied, Damien Galissaire and his partner Caroline Ollivier embarked on the adventure of creation from a company ‘Selfbéton’. Helped by the Economic Development service of the community of communes of Réolais*, they found the ideal land and acquired it in the ZAE of Majou, in Aillas.

Concrete usable 3 hours after production

Friday October 4, 2024, Damien and Caroline are proud to put Selfbéton into operation in an environment perfectly suited.

Quick and simple, this service ensures concrete of consistent quality that can be used a maximum of 3 hours after production.

Selfconcrete

Sand and cement or gravel and cement hoppers can provide up to 6 m³ of concrete or mortar.

Monitored remotelythe emptied hoppers are immediately restocked for the next customer. If necessary, a telephone number is available to contact those responsible.

“Without waiting, it’s a service that makes it easier toorganisation days of work. Note also that Selfbéton exempts you from all cleaning and waste collection chores. Payment is identical to payments by bank card ».

A service open from Monday to Saturday

Operating Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.mSelfbéton provides an operation which ease the work of companiesif only in time savingwhile knowing that the materials used are oflocal origin. And especially since, if there is a pandemic again, the service will continue its activity.

But it is also aimed at individuals who can come and buy, for example, 150 liters of concrete with a trailer! For them, no more tedious mixing to make yourself, no more concrete mixers, no more cleaning. The only constraint is that it can be used for three hours.

Everything is profitable and the price is almost equivalent to that of manufacturing it yourself.

The family business, Damien, Caroline and her dad who possibly comes to help, will be happy to welcome Saturday October 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., all businesses and individuals curious about how this works novelty. “We will answer all questions and explain how Selfbéton works in order to reassure potential future customers.”
