For three days, Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May 2024the festival will take place Grand vent-en-Grandvaux in Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux in Haut-Jura, with numerous entertainment, workshops, shows, concerts and projections movie theater.

Every spring, the association Resonancewhich supports the cultural season of the Grandvaux Intercommunal Musical School (Émig), offers a festival over a weekend. After 2023 and Japon-en Grandvaux (triennial event which will return in 2026), place in Grand vent-en-Grandvaux, which will have the theme ” the wind “.

Available in events, screenings, concerts, catering, workshops, exhibitions, a great wind will blow in all directions over Grandvaux, blown by multiple and diverse inspirations. The event will take place in three locations: The NuthatchTHE Louis Bouvier college And music school.

Saturday May 25

At music school

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Video exhibition Vie-vent, a film by Rémi Caille, music by Jérôme Lefebvre from FMR Orchestrâ How far music evaporates. Duration: 50 mins. FREE ENTRANCE. Screening every hour from 10 a.m. Exposure of paintings And sculptures by the artist Georges Kliemann. FREE ENTRANCE.

At Louis Bouvier College

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (duration 30 min.) Model workshop And demonstration by Les coucous de morbier, an aeromodelling association, offers to assemble your flying model and decorate it before testing it in flight. Free. Ventilated games, Blowing is done!, hosted by Doïna Courbaron. Free. Table tennis with random wind, table penalties with a blowgun, blown table pins, ventilated basketball, ribbons flying in the wind… Games and activities to have fun, without having to wear your hair!

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Workshop of construction of Japanese kites hosted by Xavier Kapella, graffiti artist. Children from 10 years old, free but registration required up to 10 participants, equipped with a pair of scissors. Come make your own Japanese kite, tako, using paper and bamboo sticks. Origami workshop, Unidentified Flying Origamis hosted by Margaux Sallan. Free.

At La Nuthatch

2:30 p.m. (Duration 30 min.) Cinema concert by Édouard Bineau (harmonica) and Ian Veronese (trombone). Free and conscious participation. On the same montage of scenes of squalls, storms and other hurricanes, Édouard Bineau and Ian Veronese will each take turns offering a solo musical setting. An original and unexpected film concert!

6:30 p.m. documentary film (duration 82 min.) Hurricane: the odyssey of a wind, by Cyril Barbançon, Andy Byatt and Jacqueline Farmer. Music: Yann Tiersen and Catherine Graindorge, Thomas Tilly. Narrated: Romane Bohringer. Free and conscious participation.

The film tells the story of the 15,000 km journey of the most devastating climatic phenomenon on our planet: the hurricane. Force both destructive and essential to the balance of life on Earth.

8:30 p.m.: Concert. Duo Bonevoix. Ian Veronese (trombones) and Maud Van Thienen (piano). 5 euros (single price).

Church of Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux

From 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., narrated wandering. Free and conscious participation. During a stroll through Saint-Laurent, Julien Costagliola will tell you about the winds here, through poetry and stories, local and from other windy lands. A trip by air to the four directions of the country.

Sunday May 26

5 p.m. at La Sittelle: concert. The winds in our sails. Grandval Orchestra & EMIG Junior Wind Orchestra. Direction: Théo Feuvrier and Matthieu Delanoë. Free entry without reservation. This traditional concert joint annual event between the Junior Wind Orchestra and the Grandval Orchestra is the result of the partnership between the La Grandvallière community of communes and the Grandval Orchestra association.
