Saturday October 19, emergency services were called at 2:30 p.m. to departmental road 538 in the town of Bourdeaux, in order to intervene in a traffic accident. While a group of bikers were traveling on the roadway, two of them collided while the group was changing direction. The 45-year-old passenger on one of the two motorcycles was seriously injured in the accident.

She was airlifted by the Samu 26/07 helicopter to the hospital center. A 42-year-old man who was driving one of the motorcycles was also taken in by emergency services to be transported to the Montélimar hospital center. The driver of the other motorcycle was unhurt.

In total, around ten firefighters were there to rescue the victims. The RD 538 was closed for two hours to allow emergency services to intervene.
