Dordogne: How did the empty workshops of Flep painters in Coulounieix-Chamiers happen? / The paintings section of Flep has successfully completed its workshop clearance

Lhe workshop clearance of the painters of the Secular Foyer for Popular Education (Flep) took place on Saturday October 12, under a big top, near the Château des Izards. Around ten artists exhibited paintings on oils and acrylics, watercolors, drawings, some of which were framed, others directly leafed through in the artists’ boxes. LA large number of people came to discuss, bargain and touch the paintings with their eyes or their hands.

In addition to the workshop clearance, they also took the opportunity to discover the exhibition of photographs by Jacky Feyfant in the castle gallery which was on display until Sunday October 13.

Claude Palacios, the head of the amateur painters section, was present during the entire exhibition. He was able to see that the artists present had, overall, a pleasant day full of exchanges and sales with the public. As a reminder, the FLEP is located at the Château des Izards and has around ten sections which revolve, among other things, around dance, astronomy and photography.
