Tickets are flying for Ensemble Vocal Plus concerts

In both cases, the first notes will be pushed at 7:30 p.m. at the L’Aparté theater at the Verbe Divin secondary school in Granby.

For this show entitled Our favoritesthe Ensemble Vocal Plus (EVP) will offer a repertoire including around twenty songs of different styles.

“We have in particular Stromae, Indochina, a medley from 2Frères and pieces in English like Somewhere Over The Rainbow», explained Isabelle Werth, chorister and head of publicity for the EVP.

“These are songs that people know and that they will hum as they leave, but with magnificent original arrangements prepared by our choir director, Lyne Genest.”

“We try to recruit new members every year, so our concerts are a very good way to discover what we do,” she said.

Part of the profits generated this weekend will be donated to the Ô P’tit Creux Foundation, which helps children in need. This support can take the form of food, clothing or even school materials.

The EVP’s contribution will be added to the $23,000 recently raised during a collection day held in the chain’s three canteens, located in Granby, Saint-Césaire and Acton Vale.
