Basketball: look back at the JDA season

The JDA Basket season has not been all rosy. Exploits and bitter defeats, the summary is quickly made. A look back at important moments of the 2023/2024 financial year.

Without victory in the Coupe de France final, the result would be bitter. This is what we could say about the JDA Basket season. 9th in Betclic Elite, Laurent Legname’s men suffered a complicated start to the season where victories and defeats were confused.

After leaving aside the Leaders Cup, a competition between the top 8 in the championship at mid-season, it was the Playoffs that the JDA saw moving further and further away.

The weekend to make Dijon dream

A few weeks after the return of coach Legname, a change of state of mind and despite numerous injuries the results became better and especially the game put in place. Memories of the meetings at the Palace against Paris and ASVEL are more than interesting.

And at the end of the tunnel, the light. This March weekend in Trélazé in Maine-et-Loire. A quarter and a semi-final against Pro B teams, sometimes the draw makes the right choice, allows the JDA a final victory in the Coupe de France to restore color to a season where smiles have not been always been there for the Dijon supporters.
