The Force Ouvrière union of territorial agents of the City of Annecy published a video clip on the YouTube platform to denounce “the deteriorating conditions” and to express their demands. Titled “The strange Halloween of the elected officials of the city of Annecy”, the video montage of one minute and thirty seconds takes up the codes of Hallowween horror films. Eerie (even anxiety-provoking) music and views of the city in black and white, adorned with cobwebs, follow one another with a voice-over which recounts “the strange phenomenon which affects the community: the flight of the agents”. A man with a terrifying mask runs out of town hall, scaring away officers.
FO, the third union among municipal employees of Annecy, is demanding in particular for employees of the City of Annecy an improvement in the organization of work, a tenure of fixed-term contracts of more than six years, an increase in the compensation system to remedy the lack of attractiveness of the community. FO also reports that social dialogue discussions regarding remuneration are underway.
Friday October 11, supported by the FO union, some of the municipal staff employed in Annecy schools were already on strike. On this occasion, Christian Bovier, deputy mayor in charge of educational success, contacted by The Dauphiné Libéré responded to the complaints.
Concerning fixed-term contracts, he admitted that “the situation is not great”, but affirmed that the reduction in precariousness is underway: “We have tripled the number of full-time facilitators. » Informing that by the end of the year, 17 after-school leaders and 20 maintenance workers will be hired.
