The daily also highlights that during the solemn mass, the Bishop of the diocese of Thiès, André Guèye, prayed for ”a Senegal of peace and prosperity”.
Sud Quotidien notes that Monsignor Guèye urged the populations to ”change behavior for a Senegal of peace and justice”, convinced that ”there cannot be true justice without peace and truth, love , forgiveness and reconciliation”.
