HAS Evron and in its surroundings, The Spring of Early Music is a unique festival in Mayenne.

The fourth edition reserves a program of vocal and instrumental musicunder the theme Viva Italia.

Theater and music

Leonardo Loredo de Sá, artistic director, presents it as follows: “The period from the 15th to the 18th century was the driving force of culture in Europe. The greatest Flemish composers went to Italy, allowing this development around the Madigral. The festival has scheduled four concerts intended around the theme of Italian culture. “

He insists: “The festival offers a cultural, artistic and educational project around Galileo Galilei with The Lynx Academy, as well as open rehearsals and festival concerts for schoolchildren, middle schoolers and high school students. A transversal project bringing together theater, music and musical composition around the Italian Madrigal (old form of vocal music). “
