New blood. For his first list, Laurent Bonadéi, the new French women’s team coach, has decided to call up five new players for the next two friendly matches against Jamaica and Switzerland. Among them, Kelly Gago (25 years old). The FC Nantes striker, who has had a good start to the season, could become the first Canary to play with the A.
Already capped in the youth selections
However, the tricolor tunic will not be a first for Kelly Gago. The former Saint-Etienne and Sampdoria (Italy) player has 12 caps in the youth selections (U19, U20 and U23).
At FC Nantes, which she joined this summer, Kelly Gago is a key player in Nicolas Chabot’s squad. Constantly starting, she scored her first goal of the season against Guingamp on October 5.
