The 2024-2025 Grand Explorateurs season will continue with the presentation of the film “Normandy – Wonders in Memory”. Through this documentary, director Cyril Isy-Schwart reveals the most beautiful assets of his native region: Normandy and its high places like Giverny, in the flowery world of the famous Claude Monet.

The spectators present will travel to the borders of the Middle Ages with the towns of , Honfleur and Bayeux, and its extraordinary tapestry retracing the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, and we will walk along the majestic cliffs of Étretat.

They will also visit the breathtaking Château du Champ de Bataille which its illustrious owner will show us, in particular its magical Maharaja’s palace patiently rebuilt stone by stone. There will also be meetings with Normans perpetuating know-how such as that of making livarot and .

Normandy is today considered a true land of memory, in memory of these freedom-loving men, many of whom laid down forever on June 6, 1944, where this year marks the 80th anniversary of the landing.
