In recent days, hammocks have been hung in the town of Saumur. These installations are part of a festival which will take place on Saturday October 19.
A surprising appearance in Saumur (Maine-et-Loire). Since Monday October 7, hammocks of several meters have been suspended in the historic streets of the city.
“These mysterious installations are in reality giant scenographic hammocks”which are part of the Les Temps d’Art festival “Saumur dreams and awakens” which will take place on Saturday October 19, specifies the event communication.
“Take a sweet and dreamy break”
“This ephemeral installation aims to transform urban space into a place of contemplation, adding an element of surprise to the streets. Floating above the city, these hammocks invite passers-by to look up and take a gentle, dreamy break from the heart of everyday life.she explains.
The Les Temps d’Art festival, supported by the Hoz’ student association, will begin at 2 p.m. in the historic center of Saumur and continue at 7 p.m. at the castle with concerts mixing classical and electro music.
