The polls for the European elections follow one another and are similar. Everyone, regardless of the institute, largely places the National Rally list at the top.
This is credited with 30% of voting intentions. This rate has remained stable for several weeks, consolidating the advance of Marine Le Pen’s party for the June 9 vote.
The polls are good, but we remain vigilant. Often, they put us very high, and on the day of the vote, the figures or the differences are not those announced. We have not forgotten what happened during the last regional elections, where there was a big delta. This time, despite everything, we are confident.
“Bardella appeals to young people”
Listening to it, the survey dynamic would find a local translation in contact with voters. Less present than other parties on the markets, particularly in the Cotentinthe party multiplies collages and boxes.
And Franck Simon continues: “On the pitch, we feel that there is a Jordan Bardella effect. Notably for young people. We feel that it is going well. The other day, at a market, I had an 18-year-old girl who came to see me because she wanted a leaflet. More generally, the reception on the markets has nothing to do with what we knew ten years ago. And then, statistically, one in three voters has already voted for us…”
“A feeling of downgrade”
Beyond the personality of the head of the list, judged today less divisive in opinion that the figure of Marine Le Pen, the National Rally thrives on the national political situation, claiming to want to make a European election a sort of “mid-terms” (mid-term elections in the United States) in the French style. And this, while no proposal thrown into the European debate has so far infused the electorate.
The European issues are there and important, of course. But it is above all the national situation that they concern us with. Purchasing power, insecurity… These are subjects on which we are expected. There is, among the middle classes, a feeling of being downgraded. It is also reflected in this ballot. France is a large country, not a region of a federal Europe…
In the Channel, the RN claims approximately 200 activists up to date with contributions“fairly” distributed across the territory.
