The day will be cloudy, with significant accumulations in the east, with the arrival of a new area of ​​precipitation via Germany, according to IRM forecasts for Friday morning. The maxima will vary from 11 to 20 degrees.

At dawn, fog or low clouds will be present in several places. During the day, a new area of ​​precipitation will gradually reach us via Germany. In the morning, there will be light rain near the Netherlands, Germany and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. In the afternoon, precipitation will gain some ground towards the center. In the provinces of Limburg, Luxembourg and Liège, rain and showers could be intense and accompanied by thunderstorms. Ahead of the disturbance, towards the west and south-west of Belgium, the weather will be drier with only the risk of a local shower and some clear spells will be able to withstand.

From 05/17 12 p.m. to 05/18 09 a.m.: Today, a new rain-storm wave will reach our regions via Germany. The provinces most affected by this new heavy rainfall are: Liège, Limburg, Namur and Luxembourg with accumulations of 25 to 50 l/m² in 24 hours.

On the relief of the province of Liège but possibly also more locally elsewhere, the accumulations in 24 hours will be between 50 and 100 mm, which corresponds to an orange level.
