Imagined by the wife and relatives of Dominique Bernard, the ceremony in tribute to the professor killed in Arras will take place on the Place des Héros.
The city’s sirens will sound at 11 a.m. to kick off several artistic performances.
The program includes singing, music, dance, poetry readings and visual arts. Professors from the Arras Conservatory will perform the Adagio Quartet from Mozart’s K.285 quartet.
There will also be a rendition of “Les enfants paradis” by Damien Saez on guitar-voice. After an hour of performance, the mayor of Arras, Frédéric Leturque will give a speech.
The public will also have the opportunity to pay tribute to the teachers by coming to place a rose at the foot of the beach in tribute to the victims of terrorism.
