This Friday, October 11, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) published a weather alert bulletin announcing locally intense stormy showers, with gusty winds, in several provinces of Morocco.

An orange vigilance level is announced by the General Directorate of Meteorologyproviding for accumulations of 20 to 40 mm of rain. The provinces which will be affected by this phenomenon are Essaouira, Safi, Sidi Bennour and El-Jadidawith a planned start Saturday October 12 2024 2pm to 9pm.
Subsequently, other provinces, such as Tangier-Asilah, Tetouan, Mdiq-Fnideq, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Kenitra, Inezgane-Ait-Melloul, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Taroudant, Chtouka Ait Baha, Tiznit, Assa-Zag and Es-Semara will also be affected, with stormy rains forecast. Sunday October 13, 2024 from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m..
