This ultra-fast charging station, at 180 kVA, installed at the bottom of town, is intended for transit traffic,” explains Pierrick Tranchevent, president of the energy transition commission of Territoire d’énergie Mayenne (TEM), during its inauguration on Wednesday October 9. At this stage, TEM has only installed three terminals of this type: in Pré-en-Pail and Aron, located on the N12 and one in Ambrières-les-Vallées, on the axis.

Our other normal or fast charging stations (50 kVA) are intended for local traffic. Ambrières also has one, at the top of town.

TEM invests in charging stations to contribute to decarbonization. The carbon impact of the electric car is two to three times lower than that of a thermal model, even taking into account the manufacturing of the battery.

The investment for this ultra-fast terminal was €92,600, but thanks to a subsidy, only €18,500 remains the responsibility of TEM.

The user will pay 72 cents per kWh, with their TEM subscription card or contactless bank card.

At this price, the journey in a diesel car would be a little more expensive. And the electric car is really advantageous when charging is done at a normal terminal, or at home.
