Season 4 ofOuter Banks is available (for part 1) on Netflix. Before we begin, we remember the end of season 3.
It’s D-day for fans ofOuter Banks : season 4 has just been put online on Netflix for new adventures for young gold prospectors. But before finding the Pogues, where did we leave them at the very end of season 3?
The Pogues had finally recovered a treasure
Season 3 ofOuter Banks had served us a spectacular finale lasting more than an hour on Netflix. The Pogues had finally managed to find the El Dorado and all its gold. John B. and Sarah reach it, together, deep in the jungle. John B.’s father, John Routledge, or “Big John”, lost his life in the process. Likewise for Ward Cameron (and he is Really dead this time). And, to this list of deaths, we add Carlos Singh, the main antagonist of the season.
Well, anyway, the Pogues finally left with some of the loot — not all of it, because they had to flee before everything in the cave was dynamited. But they were able to gather enough gold coins to secure a nice little personal loot.
At the end of the season, the series jumps 18 months into the future. The group of friends, we discover, are no longer ostracized by society and have even opened a small local museum called “Road to El Dorado”. Where are the characters at this point? SO :
- Sarah and John B. opened a surfboard store;
- Kiara finally dedicates herself to her ecological cause, saving turtles, and seems to have reconciled with her parents;
- Pope has returned to school (and is still in a relationship with Cleo);
- JJ bought his dream car;
- Rafe Cameron is absent from the ending scenes, we don’t know what happens to him.
The story was then restarted by a man presenting the Pogues with a funny challenge: finding Blackbeard’s treasure. It is with this new adventure, which was only taking shape, that we left the Pogues at the end of season 3…
Be careful, however, remember that season 4 is broadcast in two parts. There are only five episodes available this October 10, the next ones are expected for November 7.
