A storm system named Ten_Ten threatens several regions of Senegal today, with showers and gusty winds already underway and forecast for the end of the day and evening, according to weather forecasts from Meteo de Riad. Here are the weather forecast details.
Reminder of morning conditions

Since this morning, rain has already been reported in certain regions of the south of the country, notably in Casamance, Tambacounda and Kédougou. Showers also continue to affect the Kaffrine region, in line with initial forecasts.
South, South-East and Center under the impact of Ten_Ten

Thunderstorms are already underway in parts of Casamance and will continue into the evening. The regions of Kaffrine, Tambacounda and Kédougou are also under the effect of this system, which will move towards the Center of the country, probably affecting Kaolack, Fatick, and the West of the Gambia. These thunderstorms will be accompanied by strong gusts of wind.
The West under surveillance
Diourbel region: The Ten_Ten system will progress westwards, reaching the Touba region at the end of the day. You must remain vigilant for gusts of wind and showers.

Dakar: The capital will have a relatively calm day and evening, but the storm system could affect the region between the late evening and night. Dakar is under surveillance and updates will be provided as the system evolves.
Thiès: Thunderstorms are expected, mainly around the middle or end of the evening. It is recommended to remain attentive to upcoming bulletins.
The North and the North-East calm for the moment
The regions of Saint-Louis, Matam, and the north of Louga should remain relatively stable for the next few hours, although the situation remains under observation.
Conditions at sea
The storms expected over land will also continue at sea this evening, with gusts which could persist until tomorrow morning. Mariners are advised to take all necessary precautions.
