Dakar, Oct 9 (APS) – The challenges and objectives of the new Digital Strategy (SN 2034) were presented to sectoral ministries and parapublic structures during a workshop held Tuesday in Dakar, we learned from an official source .
“As part of the development of the SN 2034 Digital Strategy, a presentation was organized for the attention of sectoral ministries and parapublic structures. This event aimed to raise awareness among these key players of the issues and objectives of the strategy,” we can read in particular in a message on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital.
“This workshop is part of the inclusive and participatory approach of the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, aiming to involve all stakeholders in the development of the digital strategy,” the text continues.
The participants in this workshop, from all sectoral ministries and parapublic structures, were able to discover on this occasion “the broad outlines of the strategy as well as its potential impact on their respective areas”.
The Digital Strategy SN 2034, called “New Technological Deal” by the Head of State, will replace the old Digital Strategy 2025 (SN 2025), developed in 2016 and one of the main objectives of which was to increase the contribution rate from digital to GDP at 10% by 2025.
