Ille-et-Vilaine: a motorcycle ride to help two sick children

The association Kerwan and Nathéo, the adventure of a permanent fight organizes first edition of its “1000 motorcycles” gathering in Coppice (Ille-et-Vilaine), near Windowwhich will take place on Saturday June 15, 2024.

The latter will set off on a course of 140 kilometers departing from Taillis at 2 p.m., returning around 5 p.m.

Two brothers with a rare disease

Two partner associations are participating in this event: Route 44 and its bikers, and Freerider49.

“Our goal is to have as many bikers as possible present for this first edition,” announces Jessica Lhommelais, the mother of Kerwan, 14 years old, and Nathéo, 9 years old, both suffering from an extremely rare disease, microdelection.

An agreement with the firefighters

“Our association aims to raise funds to cover medical costs that are not fully covered. »

The firefighters are also committed to supporting the two brothers.

“An agreement will be signed on April 15 with the Ille-et-Vilaine Departmental Union of Firefighters and the Young Firefighters,” announces Jessica Lhommelais.

The firefighters will undertake to communicate about the illness of the two brothers and to highlight the association during events organized in the department.
