The City of Saint-Étienne announces that it will close its parks, gardens and outdoor sports grounds from 3 p.m. this Wednesday.

A reopening is planned once the orange “strong winds” alert from Météo is lifted in the Loire.

Same thing in the Rhône: the City of has closed its parks and gardens since Wednesday morning.

Météo France has placed new departments in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in vigilance orange in the wind.

After the Loire and the Rhône, Ain and Isère will also be affected this Wednesday in the second part of the day. Strong gusts are expected with up to 110km/h locally.
