The Rendez-Vous aux Jardins return to Paris and Île-de-France on the weekend of May 31 to June 2, 2024. On this occasion, the Maurice Denis departmental garden museum, in Saint-Germain-en-Laye in the Yvelines invites us to (re)discover her garden through a special program.

In good weather, the Meet at the Gardens invite us to experience a weekend of cultural tips bucolic in the heart of parks and gardens private as well as public. Every year at springthis event highlights our green heritage through guided tours and special events. It’s a fabulous outdoor program to enjoy with friends, family, or even lovers that awaits you every editing. This year, the appointment is given to us for the weekend from May 31 to June 2, 2024 and for the occasion, many events are being prepared to Paris and in allIle-de-France. Enough to allow us to (re)discover our botanical treasures in an often surprising way.

And on the side of Yvelines, there is plenty to do! THE department of 78 highlights its bucolic heritage through visits organized throughout the territory. In the town of Saint-Germain-en-Layeit is the opportunity, for example, to conquer the Maurice Denis Departmental Museum, located in the heart of the house-studio of the eponymous artist. Here, we discover a collection of works created by Maurice Denis as well as symbolist and Nabis painters. The Rendez-Vous aux Jardins allow them to highlight the beautiful museum garden which extends over the hill of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Here the landscapes follow one another between the rose garden, the terrace, the sculptures of Bourdelle and the green theater.

    May 31 – June 2

    EVA is the free geocaching application to discover the heritage riches of the Yvelines department.

    Freely download the “Eva, the weavers of time” application on your smartphone and start the adventure.
    One of the adventures takes place in the Museum garden.
    Immerse yourself in 1921 and search for Maurice Denis who is about to be kidnapped by the Time Pirates.
    As you walk through the garden bordering the painter’s former home, you will meet his family who will be able to help you and guide you through your discoveries.

    Guided stroll through the museum garden to discover its different species using your different senses.

  • Hatha-yoga session in the heart of the garden
    Saturday June 1, 3:45 p.m.

    Halta-yoga session on the museum lawns.

    Sunday June 2, 2:00 p.m.

    Ideal for families: become adventurers and solve multiple puzzles that will allow you to better understand the history of the place.
