If the three evenings have been sold out (May 9, 10 and 11 at the Saint-Jean hall in La Motte-Servolex) for months, they will have the merit of giving a taste of the rich programming that will be offered from the start of the school year at La Comédie des Alpes, the new cultural venue dedicated to humor and boulevard theater in downtown Chambéry.

New cultural venue in Chambéry: La Comédie des Alpes

Every week from Thursday to Sunday as well as every other Wednesday, La Comédie des Alpes will offer shows of all kinds but always with a humorous vocation.

“It’s a big gamble”

In addition to the shows of the troupe of local professional comedians (including the regional success Cutins des Alpes), around thirty touring comedians will come to make the Chambéry audience laugh, including Fanny Ruwet, Tania Dutel, Willy Rovelli, Gérémy Crédeville, Elisabeth Buffet or local darlings Jean-Michel Matteï and Serge Papagalli.

As Thomas Caruso, director of the theater, explains, “It’s a big gamble. There are around sixty shows and more than 150 performances scheduled for this first season, we hope that the Savoyards will respond! »

With such a program, it is a safe bet that the new room with around 160 seats will quickly become the temple of laughter in Savoyard territory.
