The panel of high-level participants at the Ukraine conference at Bürgenstock in the canton of Nidwalden on June 15 and 16 is growing. The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen as well as the President of the European Council Charles Michel announced their arrival.
“Switzerland is delighted with the participation of Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in the Summit on Peace in Ukraine on June 15 and 16 in Switzerland,” announced Friday on X the head of communications of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), Nicolas Bideau. He also confirms the arrival of the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
The Irish Prime Minister and the Moldovan President are also present. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as well as the head of the Italian government Giorgia Meloni, the presidents of Poland, Finland and Latvia, as well as the Prime Ministers of Spain and Cape Verde have already announced their participation. /ATS-fba
