This Thursday, May 9, around 2 p.m., the start of a fire was reported in a stable, with a surface area of 2,400 m², located on Chemin des Afferaz, in Frangy. Around twenty firefighters intervened to stop the flames which were beginning to descend on the facade of the building. The fire started at the level of the photovoltaic panel inverters, which represent an area of 1800 m². A lance was needed to put it out.

Before help arrived, the owner had taken out the 85 cows and 15 calves that were in the barn. Of the 2,500 m² of the building, only 3 m² were affected. Being installed outdoors, no animals were bothered by the slight fumes.
