Lot-et-Garonne. A man locks himself in his house with his daughters after beating his wife

This is an individual who is already well known to the gendarmerie services. In the evening of Wednesday May 8, 2024the gendarmes intervened at 8:30 p.m. in the town of Saint-Pardoux-Isaac in Lot-et-Garonne following a domestic dispute.

A 51-year-old woman was forced to leave her home after being victim of beatings by her husband. The father of the same age then locked inside the home with the couple’s two childrentwo young girls aged 10 and 20.

Negotiations on the balcony with the police

In separation instancethis is not the first time that the individual has acted this way.

A negotiation then began between the accused and the police. After agreeing to go out onto the balcony of the home to speak with the soldiers, the man finally agreed to surrender in order to be placed in police custody.

The latter was interrupted after the father was placed at the La Candélie Hospital Center.
