“Freedom” or “All hostages”. Posters were stuck on Parisian walls. In Paris, 250 people put up nearly 4,000 posters in tribute to the hostages held by Hamas. “We continue to stick, because we know that oblivion awaits“, estimated Céline Attal, founder of the Tous 7 Octobre association.
“No peaceful solution can be found as long as hostages remain“, she explains in a press release. A year after the Hamas attacks in Israel, we can read on some of the posters messages like “365 days in hell“or again”101 hostages still in captivity.” Beyond the messages, some posters show the faces of the hostages with the words “kidnapped”.
These collages did not only take place in Paris. Posters were also put up in several towns in Val-de-Marne. During the night, the association organized collages in Charenton-le-Pont, Saint-Mandé, Vincennes then Fontenay-sous-Bois.
