As its name suggests, Botanik’Art, in Manche, is a festival which combines art, in this case sculpture, and botany, since the works are to be discovered in gardens.
5 municipalities, 14 gardens
Created by the association L’Alternateur 48°N/1°W, the festival returns for a 4e editing, from Saturday May 18 to Monday May 20, in Granville, Yquelon, Longueville, Bréville-sur-Mer and Donville-les-Bains.
This year, 14 gardens are hosting the works of a twenty local and international sculptors. Among them, the Villa Happiness, in Granville, where six sculptors will take over the park.
Or, the Ruins of Guesclin, in Longueville, which will host the works of sculptor Virginie Jacquette.
The famous Dior garden is also one of the exhibition venues for this fourth edition.
Some private gardens only open their doors on this occasion.
