Biwan
It is at the heart ofiRASSHai, this Japanese concept store inaugurated last year, which we discover in Biwan. In a Zen decor like Japan does best, the place celebrates authentic washoku cuisine, a culinary tradition listed in 2013 as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. Or a subtle alliance between the kaiseki cuisine of Kyoto and the more family-style cuisine that we know almost everywhere in the Land of the Rising Sun. On the menu? Sashimi, charcoal-grilled ribeye, seasonal vegetable tempuras and French-Japanese desserts.

The Gherkin
With an opening planned for the end of the month, The Gherkin is the work of Bertrand Chauveau (ex Jean-François Piège) And Paul Henri. Open every day, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., the place evolves according to the desires of a Parisian day. In an atypical decor, inspired by INA reports and designed by the interior design agency Claves, you can order upscale French cuisine: mafalde with white asparagus, tournedos Rossini, Spanish-style hake… But also red fruit ice creams.
