FIDEI is reconnecting with its solidarity tradition a few days before the start of the 2024-2025 academic year. The association has made available to the Oumar Syr DIAGNE, Alfred Dodds, Bokhol 2, Amadou Basse Sall (Dagana) schools as well as the FIDEI (Ndar Tout) and Cheikh TOURÉ (Guet-Ndar) kindergartens, significant batches school supplies.
The Secretary General of the Education and Training Inspectorate (FIDEI) of Saint-Louis, who chaired the symbolic handover ceremony, welcomed “a significant action” undertaken for more than ten years for the benefit of school.
“This support is a boon for the communities and for the teaching teams”, assured Papa Amadou GUEYE who magnifies a significant contribution in the materialization of the concept “Ubbi Tey, Jang tey” (opening today, starting classes now) .
He recalled that in addition to the sets of notebooks and slates offered to students, support was provided to teaching teams in terms of reams of paper, ink and documents intended for the administration of establishments.
He urged beneficiaries to ensure “transparent management” of donations, recommending that they make them efficient.
