Tunnel sanitation and maintenance work is to be undertaken on the A1 motorway from May 13 to 15. They will cause a closure to traffic between the Yverdon-Sud and Estavayer-le-Lac junctions from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. In a press release, the Federal Roads Office (OFROU) specifies that during the night of May 13 to 14, the motorway will only be closed on the roadway on the Jura side, towards Yverdon.
On the other hand, traffic will be completely interrupted during the night of May 14 to 15. “Motorists are invited to leave the motorway and follow the diversion set up on the secondary network,” informs FEDRO. Please note that the work could be postponed in the event of bad weather conditions.
