For three years already, the members of the participatory citizen council have been working for the general interest of residents, with the desire to act in favor of the creation of multiple projects including the beautification of the city center and neighborhoods with the operation “ Ma Rue en Fleurs”, but also the revitalization of the music festival, the awakening to biodiversity of elementary school children with the construction of nest boxes and insect hotels, awareness of energy savings, interventions at the retirement home to give residents a taste for reading again…

The members of this municipal structure led by Marie-Laure Lledos, first deputy in charge of citizenship, also benefit from presentations and meetings around themes relating to public life (finances, town planning, environment, etc.).

Recently, a delegation traveled to the headquarters of the Hérault departmental council in Montpellier, accompanied by two elected officials, Philippe Marin and Marie-Laure Lledos. Welcomed by Jean-Christophe Bauduin, protocol manager, they were offered a guided tour of the premises.

First in the departmental hemicycle where the role and missions of the president and departmental advisors were explained to them, then in the magnificent gardens, where the group was able to fully understand the architecture of the different buildings on the site and their evolution in the weather.

This visit concluded the mandate of the citizen advisors since a new council will soon be formed following a call for applications.

Already, residents who would like to join the group are invited to make themselves known by contacting 06 60 04 43 97.
