This Saturday, May 11, 2024, CD08 will meet you at the Louis-Dugauguez stadium in Sedan for the 11th edition of the Departmental Sports Boar Day. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 800 members from different clubs in the Ardennes will take part in this great football festival.
This event is organized by the Prevention, Sport and Leisure Service of the Departmental Council and with the support of the Ardennes District. They will supervise the young athletes throughout the day. Nearly 80 Ardennes teams and more than 800 licensees will be present for this long-awaited 11th edition. Please note: the presence of CSSA players who will come and meet the participants.
Matches and activities will punctuate the day, around the values of football: cohesion, respect and tolerance, technical and tactical learning.
Encourage sports practice
For more than 10 years now, the Departmental Sports Marcassin Days have been organized by CD08 and its partners. These days encourage the active participation of young people by promoting regular sports practice. By practicing a sport, young people improve their physical condition, attention, concentration and energy expenditure. It also develops confidence and self-esteem, among other things, essential skills for their future!
In 2024: 12 days are planned for all young athletes aged 5 to 18! The next meeting will take place on May 25, 2024 at the Macerienne in Belval, to highlight tennis.
