Her good mood, his good nature, his smile, that’s his “little extra thing”. Living in Claye-Souilly (Seine-et-Marne), Ludovic Boul starred in the very first film directed by Arthur, A little something extrareleased in theaters on 1er May 2024.
He plays the role of Ludovic, a disabled adult who goes to summer camp with his center. During the trip, the group crosses paths with Paul, alias Sylvain and Orpi, alias “La Fraise”, played by Clovis Cornillac, a duo of robbers on the run who seeks to go under the police radar by posing as a disabled person and his companion. For us, Ludovic Boul returns to his acting experience.
Great first
It all started ago some monthswhile Aurélie Brachet, her daily educator, spots an ad for a casting on the Internet. She decides to register Ludovic Boul. And there, everything comes together. ” I had to make a video in which I introduced myselfand, I was then selected and met Artus,” remembers Ludovic Boul.
Excited by the script of the film, he is involved alongside Boris, Mary, Gad or Arnaud, other budding actors who are, in fiction, members of the same center. With them, he spent very good times, which remain engraved in his memory. “There is a moment that marked me, it was the swimming in the lake. The water was frozen, but we had a good laugh. We also have the moment when we make rowing all together, or the scene where we celebrate Marie’s birthday. It was really a great shoot ! “, he recalls.
While it was his very first experience as an actor, he was entitled to a headset so that we could dictate to him, live, the dialogues he had to repeat. His endearing character has the particularity of pronounce a lot of profanity, which amused him a lot, but contrasts with reality. “In reality, I say a lot less swear words. On the other hand, I am also gourmand than my character and I love disguises,” he admits.

He doesn’t hold back but good of this adventure, which lasted about a month and a half, last summer, in the Vercors. “That makes a funny feeling of meeting celebrities. I had already seen films with Clovis Cornillac, and I had great relationships with Artus and Alice Belaïdi,” he smiles.
After seeing the final result, he is more than satisfied with the film. “ Seeing yourself on a big screen is weird, but I’m happy with what was done. I would even be ready to make another movie, to go to the Cannes Film Festival and get on the red carpet! », he enthuses.
Today, we are even starting to recognize him in the street, which is not to displease him. He also promotes the film, whether on television or radio. And, who knows, maybe he will have the chance to participate in a future film?
