Fournil Plique in Troyes targeted by administrative closure for “breaches of hygiene rules”

Following the inspection carried out on Monday May 6, 2024 by the Bureau Véritas Exploitation, charged by the DRAAF Grand Est (regional directorate for food, agriculture and forestry) with official control activities of establishments of direct delivery, “breaches of the rules of hygiene and general maintenance of places and installations have been noted” at Fournil Plique, in Troyes, indicates the Aube prefecture.

It mentions degraded premises and equipment, soiled premises, dirty equipment and materials, the absence of systematic application of a traceability procedure, the presence of expired foods, the lack of waste management, the presence of pests, etc.

For the prefecture, “These numerous failings present a danger to public health.” Consequently, Cécile Dindar, prefect of Aube, took the decision to urgently close the Fournil Plique, rue de Preize in Troyes. The closure measure will be lifted as soon as the establishment meets the standards in force, after control by the DDETSPP (departmental directorate of employment, labor, solidarity and population protection).
