From June 21 and until the end of summer 2024, Gaîté Lyrique invites you to a summer season full of discoveries and surprises, bearing the sweet name of “Gaité l’été”, a new living space and sharing “under the sun”, where culture flourishes in a spirit of conviviality and openness.
The principle ? Relocate the institution’s cultural spaces to offer us a vibrant and completely free artistic experience, in the open air! On the program, a multitude of captivating activities for all audiences: inspiring DJ sets that immerse you in a supercharged atmosphere, introductory workshops on urban dances such as voguing and electro dance, film screenings and workshops dedicated to skateboarding for sliding enthusiasts.
As part of the festivities for the 2024 Olympic Games, an off-site program is planned with the Paris Sports Ball at the Parc des Championsoffering a unique cultural experience.

The Paris Sports Ball
When Voguing meets the Olympic Games
The 1ser, August 6 and 8, 2024, a spectacular and free event takes place at the Parc des Champions (place dedicated to the celebration of medal-winning athletes on Place du Trocadéro): the Paris Sports Ball. For this unique event, members of the House of Revlon will compete on stage with dance battles inspired by Olympic sports, mixing the grace of voguing – a form of dance born in the racialized LGBT+ communities of New York in the 80s – with the competitive spirit of the games.
This summer at the Parc des Champions, three captivating artistic performances will be presented, featuring renowned artists: Angelin Preljocaj, Mourad Merzouki and Vinii Revlon himself.
